The Mixx continues to support the LGBT community by sponsoring LezVolley 2017
Two weeks ago, on August 12th 2017, was the 7th annual LezVolley tournament on Fire Island. In spite of the cloudy weather, the event was a huge success and gathered 18 teams for the first time since its creation in 2011. The tournament was covered by Go Magazine and supported by new sponsors. Among these new sponsors: the branding agency, The Mixx. The Mixx is a full-service agency in the heart of NYC. But the true heart of the agency lies in their culture. Built on a foundation of integrity, respect, and passion, it’s who they are that drives them to do what’s best for brands. The Mixx has been a world class partner when it comes to connecting globally renowned brands with LGBT audiences for over 21 years. The Mixx and LezVolley, a connection that makes sense
The Mixx has always been a supporter of the LGBT community and a thought leader in diversity. In the late nineties, their CEO, Robyn Streisand, was already advocating for diversity initiatives at some of the biggest brands in the nation.LezVolley is an event, for the LGBT community and their friends, that gives back to the community; something that the Mixx thrives to do. Their CEO is also very passionate about health and fitness, and sponsoring an LGBT sport event made complete sense to her."As an LGBT owned, WBENC and NGLCC certified company, we feel it’s important to give back and support those who go above and beyond to create entertainment for the LGBTQ community. Because health & fitness is a big part of my lifestyle and everyday routine, sponsoring an LGBT sporting event was a no brainer!" Robyn Streisand, CEO & Founder of The Mixx.
What’s new at The Mixx?
As an LGBT advocate and public figure, Robyn Streisand was named to last year’s OUT100, accepting this award alongside icons like Ellen DeGeneres and Tom Ford. She has been recognized as a thought leader in the marketing space and for the visibility her work brings to the LGBT community. She has also been recognized as one of Ad Age's Women to Watch in 2017, a huge deal in the advertising world.
