The Mixx SERVES up LezVolley for a second year in a row!
Lez Volley, our annual women’s volleyball tournament held on Fire Island, NY, included The Mixx as one of our corporate sponsors at our 2017 Cherry Grove competition. In 2018, the NYC-based creative agency has kept up “the assist” by supporting the exclusive LGBTQ focused event through sponsorship of Team Danielle Presents, led by LezVolley’s co-owner Danielle Stanziale.
“The Mixx is not just a creative agency - it’s a powerful inspiration to the LGBTQ community. The CEO, Robyn Streisand, has been a great influence to our community and is a dear friend of 15+ years. She has taught me to always be strong as a gay woman, to go after what I want, and to “think big.” And that’s exactly what I do every growing year for LezVolley. I am thankful for her support!”
Danielle, co-owner of LezVolley
It’s not breaking news that The Mixx is an active supporter of the LGBTQ community. The agency is NGLCC-certified, and is a world-class partner to Fortune 100 brands when it comes to authentically connecting them with LGBTQ audiences.
“Our keys to success include an intimate understanding of LGBT audiences, great strategy, and compelling creative.”
Robyn Streisand, CEO of The Mixx.
For The Mixx, the spirit of Pride and what is stands for goes beyond the month of June and considers it to be something the LGBTQ Community experiences throughout the year! For that reason, the agency is currently running a campaign called “Heroes of Pride,” an interview series which highlights and celebrates individuals they consider to be Heroes as they actively demonstrate Pride in their day-to-day life, work, and activism.
Heroes they’ve featured so far include Rob Smith, founder of The Phluid Project, Liz Wallace, author of the The Ambition Decisions: What Women Know About Work, Family, and the Path to Building a Life, and Suki Sandhu, CEO of Audeliss and Founder of OUTstanding, an LGBT+ membership organization.
The LezVolley team is thrilled to have The Mixx as a partner and cannot wait to see how the partnership will evolve next year.
