The Phluid Project helps LezVolley to raise money for the SIGBI
For the first time in 2019, the LGBTQ beach-volley tournament LezVolley hosted a raffle during the event to raise money for the Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative, the official 5013C non-profit of the Stonewall Inn whose mission is to help some of the most marginalized members of the LGBTQ community.
One of the generous partners that participated to the raffle by donating a product gift bag to LezVolley was The Phluid Project, a NoHo based, gender-free brand that aims to activate community through the lens of fashion. Other partners included The Stonewall Inn, Cubbyhole and Bar Bacon.
In addition to helping LezVolley to raise money for a good cause, The Phluid Project also had their own team participating to the tournament! The Phluid Project team did a great job on the courts for their first tournament and will hopefully be back next year to celebrate LezVolley’s 10th Anniversary (more information to come!).
About The Phluid Project
Their mission? Challenge all boundaries with humanity - tearing down constructs that bind us in to boxes and open the floodgates for acceptance, balance, integrity, intention, and openness. They aim to be a voice for our transgender, gender non conforming, and non-binary phamily as well as marginalized groups by creating community embedded in activism through gender-free fashion.
