“Fire Island offers a great excuse to get away from the city – a short ferry ride and you’re whisked away to nature filled boardwalks and beautiful beaches instead of crowded city sidewalks. Danielle and Kristine’s action-packed LezVolley event sets the scene for an exciting weekend filled with friends, both new and old, yearning to get away from the monotony of city life, offering a fun, healthy way to escape the norm. A truly can’t-miss experience, there is no event that matches the pace, parties or athleticism of LezVolley!”

“Best weekend in Fire island, hands down! I personally help out with this every year. I believed in my friends Danielle and Kristine when they first started this event and I had to be part of it. And I am so happy I am. It is a weekend full of parties and volleyball! Who wouldn’t want to spend their whole day on the beach with their friends? LezVolley isn’t just for players, this event is crazy fun for everyone! One HUGE Party ALL Weekend Long! When I say “don’t miss it”… I would listen. Make memories, make stories, Come to LezVolley! “

“We love LezVolley! We went for the first time a few years ago, Easa played and I watched. Was a great time being on the beach all day, cheering on the girls as they played. Looking forward to going back for our 4th year and enjoying all the fun filled festivities on Fire Island!”"

“Best LGBTQ event of the year! Fire Island is the most incredible location for a beach volleyball tournament for women! I met some of my best friends at the event and cannot imagine what summer would be without LezVolley. I go every year and literally wait all year long for this event. I go to play, but also to hang out, laugh, lay on the beach, have cocktails at Cherry’s, meet new people, and spend time with my wife and friends. “

“LezVolley is the event of the year! It’s not just about the game, it’s also about the atmosphere and good energy! The location is outstanding and who does not enjoy a beach filled with girls in bikini? Come on!”

“Danielle and Kristine’s “LezVolley” is hands down my favorite event/party of the whole year! Before I started playing, I used to go watch the teams play. How can I not? Beach, sun, ocean and LOTS of beautiful women all hanging out together, partying, and also enjoying the teams of women playing beach volleyball? Sign me up! And actually, that’s what I did; I signed up to play the very next year! I can go on and on, but there aren’t enough words to describe the incredible experiences I have had and will continue to have at LezVolley. If you know me, you know I will never steer you wrong: go and experience it for yourself!”

“Amazing experience! What more could you want than a weekend away at a gay beach surrounded by fun women? Whether you’re bringing your girlfriend or fly solo for the weekend, it’s definitely not one to miss.
Whether you want to take it seriously or head to the bar for drinks in between games, it’s a day full of fun and laughter.”

“LezVolley is THE event for lesbians on Fire Island. Girls from all over come to compete and party in an epic weekend filled with friendship, flirting, and fun. The games are competitive and coordinated during the day, while everyone lets their hair down to dance all evening. It’s the one weekend I will not miss!!”

It’s just an incredible experience to spend the day playing, cheering, boozing, and having the best time ever with gorgeous people. Absolutely love it!”

“What can I say about LezVolley?! Danielle and Kristine have put together a stellar event, everything was organized and professional. Registration was a breeze, the 4 courts were great, the games ran on time, and the location can’t be beat (right in front of Sand Castle). Besides the on-point logistics, the atmosphere was a first for me. It felt amazing to spend the weekend in a town were you are the majority and can express your full self, uninhibited. I could really feel the buzz and excitement everywhere, from the ferry, to the beach, to the bars. Everyone was pumped to see their friends, hit the beach, and get the party started! The games are perfect if you’re competitive or an athlete looking to shake some rust off. If that isn’t your thing, there’s plenty of space to lay out, watch the games, or toss a ball around more casually with friends. And when the championship is played and the sun starts to set, the afterparty begins! This event really has something for everyone. I have already talked it up to my friends and will MOST DEFINITELY be back next year.”
