LezVolley 2022: post-tournament ranking
Team I’d Hit That, the 2022 LezVolley tournament winners
With 25 teams spread across 5 courts on the Cherry Grove beach of Fire Island, the LezVolley tournament follows a point-based ranking system that allows for a fair competition between all courts and teams.
The teams are split up across 5 courts with 5 teams per court.
Each team plays four 20-min games within their court bracket and collects points by scoring against the opposite team - as much as they can until the games end.
At the end of all four games, the tournament referees count the points accumulated by each team and put together the overall ranking.
Only the top 8 teams move on to the Play Offs.
During the Play Offs, there are 4 eliminatory games that lead to 2 semi-final games and 1 Championship final game.
